Description

Sole Source Notice of Intent The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 3), James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx New York, intends to award a Limited Sources contract under the authority of FAR 8.405-6 Limited Sources Justification to Virgo Medical Services, Inc. located at 290 Sanford Street - East Orange, New Jersey 07018 due to continuity of services. Virgo Medical Services, Inc. to transport patients to and from their homes and appointment locations. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance not to exceed nine months (9) months. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; a determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. The point of contact for this action is Contract Specialist, Josie Tuitt and can be reached at josie.tuitt@va.gov TASKS TO BE COMPLETED Contractor will furnish Ambulette services to transport patients to and from their homes and appointment locations. A written contracted order for the specified task will be distributed to the Sole contracted source only.
