The Product Manager for Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (PdM TMDE) has a requirement to provide a general purpose automatic test capability to the Fleet Marine Forces. This Synchro Resolver procurement will allow the AN/USM-657B(V)2, Third Echelon Test System (TETS) to support the Light Armored Vehicle-25 (LAV-25) using the AN/PSM-123 Application Program Set (APS). Currently, this APS can only be executed on the AN/USM-717, Virtual Instrument Portable Electronic Repair Tester (VIPER/T) limiting its availability to the Fleet Marine Force to maintain the LAV-25. The panel assembly for the secondary chassis provides access to the Synchro Resolver capability when installed into the TETS. This effort is a small business set-aside, and is a competitive procurement under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 guidelines. The NAICS code is 334515. The Government will issue a single award to the successful offeror whose proposal submission is determined to be the lowest price technically acceptable, as described in FAR 15.101-2. This will be awarded as commercial Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The Government anticipates a period of performance shall be a total of 48 months after the date of contract award with one (1) base year and three (3) ordering periods of 12 months each.
