- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of the Charles George VA Medical Center, intends to issue a Request for Quote for qualified Small Businesses for delivery of Topcon Retinal Camera and Slit Lamp Imaging System. The prescribed delivery date is 30 days after receipt of order. Responses to this notice will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be incurred by interested parties in responding to this pre-solicitation notice. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation (VA246-14-Q-0705) for this requirement on June 20, 2014. The solicitation will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, as no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide full information to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 339112, Size Standard: 500 employees, and the Classification code is 6540. Interested parties should submit with their response the following information: 1.Company name and DUN # 2.POC information 3.Business size and socio-economic classification (for example SDVOSB, Woman-owned) 4.Is this item available on FSS Schedule?
