- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to provide maintenance and calibration for the government owned Wenzel & Ziess Coordinate Measurement Machines. CLIN 0001 Base Year Period of Performance: to be determined Cost Breakdown: 1 quote mark Job quote mark @ $__________ The contractor shall provide the yearly maintenance and software upgrade for the LDI Surveyor WS-3060 CMM (Calibration of Coordinate Measuring Machine) System. And the maintenance will include the following: Extended System Warranty 1 year: Parts; labor; SSC Software updates; technical support (per e-mail and phone); technician's time and expenses, system calibration and factory calibration of the laser probe. This includes free training for up to 1 persons per year and/or 1 day of advanced on-site training to coincide with system calibration. See Limited Warranty Policy section for coverage details. Add-on 2nd SLP Laser Probe to Warranty 1 years: Same as above. Hot Swap Protection: Provides loaner or replacement for laser probe, PC, and Dynamic Scanning components. Otherwise, the system will be down while parts are being repaired. Open DMIS Software Maintenance 1 year: Entitles end users to software updates; Technical support (e-mail and phone) and up to one licensing changes per year. Geomagic Studio and Quality Software maintenance 1 year: (combined licenses): entitles end users to software updates, technical support (e-mail and phone) and up to one licensing change per year. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 9:00 AM Eastern Time, June 25, 2014. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
