- Industry Day and Site Visits for Operations and Maintenance Contract of the US Army Europe Regional Medical Command (ERMC) in Germany and Italy The 409th CSB/TCC will conduct an Industry Day and Site Visits for the reprocurement of the Operations and Maintenance Contract in Germany and Italy for ERMC on 14 - 17 July 2014. Monday, 14 July 2014 - Industry Day/Site Visit at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Tuesday, 15 July 2014 - Site Visit at Vilseck Army Health Clinic Wednesday, 16 July 2014 - Travel to Vicenza, Italy Thursday, 17 July 2014 - Site Visit at Vicenza Army Health Clinic The purpose of the Industry Day and Site Visits is to improve the understanding of the requirement, thereby promoting dialogue between Government and industry to provide best practices in the procurement of services. The event will also present Government Furnished Equipment and facilities that could be leveraged to facilitate contractor performance. Another goal is to solicit input from industry on the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) and DRAFT acquisition strategy. We do not anticipate any one-on-one meetings as vendors will have the opportunity to submit questions in writing. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING. The Government WILL NOT respond to verbal questions except in clarification of presentation material. Questions may be submitted during the Industry Day and Site Visits to the Government. If additional questions arise after Industry Day and Site Visits, questions must be submitted by 1600 CET, 21 July 2014 to karin.m.price.ln@mail.mil, stephanie.m.vandine.civ@mail.mil, and william.d.mills.civ@mail.mil. All attendees and questions/answers will be posted on Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) and FedBizOpps (FBO). The 409th CSB/TCC will continue to post all information concerning the acquisition on ASFI/FBO as it becomes available, and the Government reserves the right to publish any new information disclosed about this acquisition that it believes will be useful to all potential offerors. Attendance of the Industry day and Site Visits is limited to three (3) personnel per company. Due to installation security procedures, attendee names must be submitted to the 409th CSB/TCC no later than 1600 CET, 7 July 2014 to ensure installation access is approved. This includes those attendees who may already have access to the base. Please email attendee information utilizing the Excel spreadsheet (Attachment 1) to karin.m.price.ln@mail.mil, stephanie.m.vandine.civ@mail.mil, and william.d.mills.civ@mail.mil. No telephone calls please. Conference attendees must show a valid photo identification card to verify their identity and an up-to-date proof of insurance/registration card. Attendees must submit a copy of their passport/EU ID and, if required, a visa/work permit along with a copy of a Police Good Conduct Certificate (PGCC) or their country's equivalent (if not in English, translated by a certified translator). This may not be more than 12 months old. Parking may be limited and unexpected delays may be encountered entering the installation. This announcement also includes a tentative agenda, questionnaire and DRAFT PWS; the PWS is only a rough draft that will be revised/finalized prior to release of the solicitation.
