Description
This is a market survey to identify sources capable of providing MOT-TACH repair, NSN 6105-01-363-3823, for delivery to the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, OK. Known part numbers are PN 41852-2 (L-3 Communications and Sierra Enterprises) and PN 41852-L2 (Datron System). Repair actions include, but are not limited to: 1. All brushes shall be replaced with new brushes in motor and tach 2. Motors shall be repainted per standard commercial practice. Color: white 3. Drive shaft shall be polished and coated with compound to prevent rust/corrosion From forming 4. Outside diameter: 0.749 inches to 0.750 inches 5. Keyway width: 0.1875 inches to 0.1895 inches 6. Keyway length: 1.70 inches minimum 7. Replace all brush caps 8. Replace all magnets in stator 9. Replace field assemblies The responses to this sources sought market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses capable of providing the requested part. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: Type of services provided by your firm, Verification of registration in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) is current. Number of years in business. Part number and manufacturer of item that would be offered. Please respond by providing the requested information and submitting a filled-out and signed copy of the Business Declaration form (please submit electronically, email to address below). All responses to this market survey must be received by Wednesday, June 25, 2014, 2:00 p.m. CST.
