Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17 (NCO 17) intends to issue sole source a firm fixed priced commercial item contract to Philips Healthcare, 22100 Bothell Everett Hwy, Bothell, WA 98021. to perform on site preventive maintenance services on the Philips Radiographic and Ultra-Sonic Imaging Equipment, in accordance with original equipment manufacturers written procedures. The Contractor shall provide preventive maintenance and unscheduled/corrective maintenance to include x-ray tube coverage. Contractor shall provide all labor and materials for semi-annual preventive maintenance inspection to include supporting computer systems and software. This agreement will be for twelve (12) month period. The services will be performed at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Harlingen Out Patient Clinic (HOPC), McAllen Out Patient Clinic (MOPC), Corpus Christi Out Patient Clinic (CCOPC), and Health Care Center at Harlingen (HCC). The repair of this equipment is needed in order to carry out the continuity of patient care. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), "soliciting from a single source." The NAICS code is 811219 and has a size standard of $19M for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 4PM CST, June 30, 2014 to: Eugene.hanley@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
