- Pre-Solicitation Notice The US Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, intends to solicit by sealed bid for a fixed price construction contract for maintenance dredging at LaPointe, Wisconsin. The estimated construction cost is between $100K and $250K. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 237990. The small business size standard for this requirement is $25.5 Million in average annual receipts over the past three years. Project Description: Mobilize dredge equipment to LaPointe Harbor, Wisconsin located on Madeline Island and dredge required areas, place dredged material in a government furnished upland placement site on Madeline Island. Demobilize when work is complete. General Information: Location: LaPointe, Wisconsin This project is set aside for small business. The estimated award date of the contract is 9 August 2014. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 30 days after acknowledgment of notice to proceed.
