- Description
- The Dredge Depot Storage Warehouse located at 3077 Talleyrand Avenue Jacksonville, FL is 30,000 gsf. The facility is approximately 40 yrs old and was initially constructed by the Port of Jacksonville, with ownership transferred to CESAJ. Renovating the storage warehouse to bring it into compliance with the current building codes is the primary project scope. A reliable water source from Talleyrand Avenue via the public utility will be provided for the fire protection and domestic water systems. The electrical distribution and lighting system and the fire protection system will be removed and replaced with a code compliant system. As part of the structural renovation, supplemental framing will augment the existing framing to bring the building into code compliance. The building metal wall panels, roof deck, windows, and doors have severely deteriorated and will be replaced. Renovation work is limited to half of the warehouse at one time. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Period of Performance is 310 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). THIS PROCUREMENT IS A SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 July 2014 with bids due on or about 14 August 2014. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
