- Description
- All interested parties, continue to monitor the webpage on the TACOM Warren, MI Procurement Network (PROCNET) Business Opportunities website for planning information related to the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) and Full Rate Production (FRP) Phase. Updated information will be added to this web site as necessary. Link to JLTV LRIP and FRP PROCNET website: https://contracting.tacom.army.mil/majorsys/jltvfrp/jltvfrp.htm Interested parties in JLTV are responsible to keep themselves informed, so it is important to visit the JLTV LRIP and FRP website periodically to ensure that you have the most current information. The U.S. Government has developed the DRAFT JLTV Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) and Full Rate Production (FRP) RFP. The DRAFT LRIP and FRP RFP is scheduled to be posted 27 June 2014 on the JLTV LRIP and FRP PROCNET website. The information is DRAFT ONLY, pre-decisional documents, and is anticipated to change before the final RFP is released. Publication of the DRAFT RFP is not a pre-RFP notice (synopsis) or a formal RFP and does not bind the U.S. Government to solicit or award a contract. All DRAFT documents are subject to change. Feedback provided in response to the draft shall be voluntary on the part of the potential offeror and no reimbursements will be made to any potential offeror for costs associated with its feedback. In order to balance the benefit of open communication with industry with the need to focus on critical issues of the RFP, judicious utilization of the Question and Answer process will be implemented. Questions and answers on the draft JLTV LRIP and FRP RFP shall be coordinated between the subcontractor with potential prime offerors for this procurement. Subcontractors are encouraged to submit questions for this procurement and shall submit them to the potential prime offeror for submission to the Government. Should the Government receive feedback from other than the established potential prime offerors, the Government will only engage in dialog that it deems necessary and appropriate. Joint Program Office (JPO) JLTV anticipates only answering questions or comments from the three current JLTV Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) contractors related to the draft RFP. Please note all questions will be posted on the JLTV LRIP and FRP PROCNET website for public review, without attribution to the source, along with all Government responses. Any questions or comments must be submitted through the email box usarmy.detroit.acc.mbx.wrn-jltv-rfp@mail.mil. Questions to the Draft RFP will be accepted until 15 July 2014.
