Description

The VHA Service Area Office East intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. 51 Valley Stream Parkway, Malvern, PA 19355 for a Prisma Fit Upgrade to include parts and accessories. No other piece of equipment can be utilized because of the importance of it being compatible with our current system. This equipment can only be provided by Siemens Medical and is compatible with the current Siemens Trio MRI scanner. The following items will be included in this upgrade. 1Prisma fit Upgrade 32TQ-.48SR # TATS1ea. 2Tim [204X128] + High End Imager #TATS1ea. 3Head/Neck 64 #P, Sk1ea. 4RESOLVE #T+D1ea. 5SWI #Tim1ea. 6Arterial Spin labeling 3D #T+D1ea. 7PC keyboard US English1ea. 8BOLD 3D Evaluation syngo MRWP #T+D1ea. 9DTI Evaluation MRWP #Tim1ea. 10DTI Tractography1ea. 11Neuro Perfusion Eval MRWP, USA #T+D1ea. 12syngo MR Workplace #T-D1ea. 13Native syngo #Tim1ea. A delivery schedule will need to be coordinated and delivered NLT November 30, 2014. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Vendors who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this equipment as described above must notify this Contracting Officer at Bridget.Kornish@va.gov or by telephone, 412-822-3420 NLT July 3, 2014 at Noon EST. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
