Description
ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS 1. How many service man and woman will we be serving per meal? ANSWER: We know this number will vary base on training schedules but is there an approximate number or range you can give? Approx. 35-80 2. Any history of past performance you can share? 3. How often are the service required? ANSWER: 5-6 times a year 4. We understand we need to supply all equipment for service but is there an area were we can store steam tables and refrigeration on site? Do these things need to be brought in with each meal service? ANSWER: We have a steam table and a refrigerator on-site that you can utilize. Storage space on site is very minimal. 5. Is there dry storage available for paper products and cleaning supplies? ANSWER: We have a conex box for dry storage however, we do not have any paper products and cleaning supplies available 6. Are there cleaning facilities on the premises such as a 3 bay sink or dishwasher? ANSWER: Yes, we have a three bay sink w/ a garbage disposal. 7. Is a site visit possible? ANSWER: Not at this time. A visit can be done prior to accepting the award if needed. 8. How many weekends per year are expected? ANSWER: Catering at our training site will be primarily for visiting teams. ANSWER: We usually average 5-6 teams a year for 1-2 weeks. 9. Can equipment be left overnight during the weekend meals are served? ANSWER: Yes, however we are not responsible for any missing equipment/supplies. 10. What electric power is available? ANSWER: 120/208 11. Can trash be left on site or does it have to be hauled off site? ANSWER: We have an industrial dumpster and a recycle bin on-site. 12. Are there specifications for the portion sizes and food items? ANSWER: The contractor shall provide a menu for approval that includes at a minimum, two meats, starch, vegetables, salad bar with dressing, fruits, dessert and beverage. 13. Does the facility have sinks for washing of pots and pans? ANSWER: Yes, we have a three bay sink w/ a garbage disposal. 14. Do the meals have to be served in a specific time? ANSWER: Yes. Meal schedule will be determined by the visiting Team leader. 15. Will there be more then one seating for each meal? ANSWER: No 16. What will the caterer be responsible for in regards to cleaning, mopping, bussing tables etc? ANSWER: Caterer will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dining tables, chairs, or benches at a rate sufficient to ensure availability to customers. Also, placing trash bags in the dumpster. The caterer must provide cleaning and disinfecting supplies. 17. What changes will the new BPA have? ANSWER: None. The BPA will still be the same. 18. When will you be deciding and awarding the new BPA? ANSWER: Usually a week after the closing date 19. Will there be annual assessments? ANSWER: Yes. In addition, the Services Staff will be conducting Quality Assurance visits for each time a team trains at the RTS. 20. Will there be an annual price increase? ANSWER: There is no price increase for this calendar year. 21. Am I correct that the BPA will have a set price, and if so, what are the determining factors for the awarded contractor? ANSWER: Prices are not set. Their is only a not to exceed. Cost will be a determining factor along with past performance. PLEASE NOTE NEW DATE FOR SUBMITTING QUOTES IS 30 JUNE 14
