- The U.S.Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) In-Service Vessel Sustainment (ISVS) Section is seeking sources to procure Dual-Axis Doppler Speed Log Systems (1 Per Cutter), including transceiver, transducer, control/display unit and other ancillary equipment for the 225 WLB Class Buoy Tenders. The system will be delivered to the CG Yard in Baltimore, MD for installation by the Government. The Coast Guard anticipates award of a firm, fixed price Requirements contract for an estimated quantity of 9 ship sets over the life of the project The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing, and the associated small business size standard is 750 employees. This sources sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. Only those firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information (items one through five) will be considered when determining whether to set aside this requirement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information that is submitted as a result of this notice. No specifications or drawings are available at this time. 1) Capability statement expressing interest in this requirement, describing your company and its capability to complete a project of this scope, magnitude and complexity (current or past technical experience.) Include a statement detailing any special qualifications and certifications, applicable to the scope of this project, held by your firm and/or in-house personnel. Include a list of projects with descriptions that are similar in nature to the Summary of Scope of Work. 2) Capability to complete design and fabrication work in-house and anticipated percentage of outsourced work. 3) Statement of your firm's standard warranty. 4) Statement of your firm's business size and type (HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), woman-owned). If a company is a large business, please consider providing any distributors or dealers for consideration. 5) Cage Code and DUNS number. 6) Reference list for each of the projects submitted in #1 above. Include the point of contact, title, phone number and email address. Your response to this notice must be received on or before 4:00 PM EST on 14 July 2014
