Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Region (VISN 6), Network Contracting Office intends to enter into a sole source procurement with ImmixGroup, Inc. for a 2 year and 3 month maintenance service contract on its network Powerscribe Voice Recognition system. NAICS code 811213 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for preventative and routine maintenance, repairs, updates, and services on VISN-wide Voice Recognition equipment specific to Radiology and Nuclear medicine dictation. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested persons may identify their interest in this requirement no later than 10:00 AM EST, June 30, 2014 to: dori.dabbs2@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
