- Replace Transformer Station, Bldg #543, Tower Barracks, USAG Bavaria, Grafenwoehr, Germany. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. Magnitude of Work: $ 250,000- $500,000. The performance period is 210 calendar days, whereby a commencement time of 120 calendar days is included. At least 30% of the construction work must be performed by the prime contractor. The solicitation will be issued on or about 30 June 2014 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately 15 August 2014. The solicitation will be available at following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments. Work is to be performed in Germany and contractor must comply with German law (e.g. authorization to do business in Germany). All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the Regional Contracting Office. Only local sources are solicited in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12).
