- Pointwise Sole Source Justification letter The 325th Contracting Squadron, Tyndall AFB, FL in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (single source), intends to award a firm fixed priced purchase order, on a sole source basis to Pointwise, Inc. for Pointwise CFD Meshing Software. Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. This purchase will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
