- Description
- The Air Force 49th Wing Chapel (49 WG/HC) and the 49th Contracting Squadron (49 CONS) are currently seeking sources for a requirement to provide staff for several positions at the Holloman AFB Chapel. This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Quote, nor does it restrict 49 CONS to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract is anticipated to be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by the 49 CONS to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with chapel staffing services on Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB). REQUIREMENTS: - Contractor will fill all required Holloman Chapel positions to include, but are not limited to, the following: ---Music Director/Musicians - provide music based on the religious requirements of multiple faiths. This position includes weekly practice, children's choir, weekend Service/Mass, and service on holy days of obligation (holidays). ---Religious Education Coordinators - have a ministry plan to facilitate all religious education to include Sunday Services/Mass, Sunday schoo, weekly: Men's, Women's, Children, and Youth studies with coordination of the appropriate parish chaplain(s). ---Youth Ministry Coordinators - have a ministry plan to help Base Christian Youth with their foundational Christian Doctrine by providing Bible Study, Sunday school, Meetings, Events and Retreats with coordination of the wing chaplain. All positions (excluding Youth Ministry Coordinators) are currently filled by either volunteers or individual contractors. Firms responding to this sources sought notice are also requested to provide the 49 CONS with capability statements, which need to include at a minimum: -Company Name -Point of Contact Name and Number -Registered in System for Award Management (SAM) -Business Status (8(a), Small, Hubzone, Woman-owned, etc.) -Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code Capabilities statement shall be submitted via e-mail to all of the following: karen.mata@us.af.mil and benjamin.hedges.2@us.af.mil no later than 2:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) on Thursday, 8 July 2014. Holloman AFB is located about 9 miles west of Alamogordo, New Mexico on Highway 70/82; 90 miles north of El Paso, Texas, and 60 miles east of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
