Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Border Patrol, intends to issue a sole-source, labor hour six month follow-on contract to INDUS Corp., for GIS services, under authority of the Federal Supply Schedule Program (see generally, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 8.4 - "Federal Supply Schedules"). This is a limited sources acquisition for an order expected to exceed the micro-purchase threshold under FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C) which states that an ordering activity may be justified in limiting sources of supply when "in the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures. The original order or BPA must not have been previously issued under sole-source or limited-sources procedures." The NAICS code is 541512. This notice is neither a request for proposals nor an invitation for bids. No formal solicitation package is available. Justification is available and will be provided upon written email request.
