- Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Office of Informatics and Analytics VA701-14-I-0221 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NeHC Organizational Membership The Department of Veterans Affairs, Program Contract Activity - Central intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source Available, no other source will satisfy agency requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with National eHealth Collaborative for a one year membership with the organization. National eHealth Collaborative is a neutral multi-stakeholder collaborative forum with a public-purpose mission of advancing the successful widespread deployment of health information exchange (HIE) to improve health and healthcare in the United States. NeHC assists its members in determining what is most important to their current and future strategies and accelerating their strategic and business efforts by providing an efficient and effective means of staying informed about industry changes and innovations and their implications in healthcare delivery. The Period of Performance is July 15, 2014 to July 14, 2015 National eHealth Collaborative 1250 24th Street, NW, #300 Washington, D.C. 20037 This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Responses to this notice are due on or before Noon EST Tuesday July 8, 2014 by email to franklin.difranco@va.gov.
