Short Summary of Requirement: The vendor shall provide monthly, annual, 6 year, and 10 year fire extinguisher testing and repair for approximately 630 fire extinguishers located through the VAWNYHCS as listed above. All inspections and repairs must comply with NFPA 10. Services will provided utilizing the Tiscor or equivalent electronic tracking system to schedule, track, document inspection, and maintenance activities on these fire extinguishers. The full scope of work will be published in the solicitation document. All interested parties must have a Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS), Federal Identification Number (FID), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and be registered with the System for Award Management, https://www.sam.gov. The solicitation document is VA528-14-Q-0352 and will be posted on/about 1 July 2014 to FedBizOpps (FBO) website. Interested firms should download the solicitation document and its attachments from the www.fbo.gov website. A site visit is not mandatory, however, if any vendor is interested, refer to the FAR 52.237.1 clause in the solicitation document for information on scheduling a site visit.
