- GSA Public Buildings Service U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: Please reference solicitation OMA2142. This is the same procurement requirement posted on March 3, 2011. State: Massachusetts City: Springfield Delineated Area: Metro Center Business District Required Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 11,961 ABOASF Required Sq. Ft. (RSF): 13,756 RSF Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 8 Parking Spaces (Surface): 0 Parking Spaces (Structured): 8 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Lease Term: 10 Years Firm Term: 5 Years Additional Requirements: • Requires access to the building 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year. • Space must have potential for an efficient layout. Ideal space would be contiguous and on one level, but a maximum of 2 levels could be an option as long as the space stills provides an efficient layout. Approximately 3,800 SF could be located on a separate level. • The Government requires a fully serviced lease.. • Space above ground level requires at least two elevators with access to the premises. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be within a 100 year flood plain. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Springfield, MA, that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government, will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime Expressions of Interest Due: July 15, 2014 Market Survey (Estimated): TBD Offers Due: August, 2014 Occupancy (Estimated): October 2014 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and should include the following information at minimum (This is not an invitation for bids or a request for proposals): • Building name/address. • Location of space in the building and date it will be available. • One-eighth inch scale AutoCAD drawing of space offered. • ANSI/BOMA defined office area square feet (ABOA SF). • Rentable Square Feet (RSF) offered and rental rate per square foot, specifying services and utilities included. • Name, address, telephone number, and email address of authorized contact. • Name of ownership entity and, if applicable, parent company.
