TRI-REGIONAL Modular RAMP INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT Service Area Office Central (SAOC) is sponsoring a Pre-Solicitation Conference Industry Days (IDS) on Wednesday July 30, 2014, to be held at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS), One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55415. There is no fee for this event. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. SAOC will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. The Tri-Regional Modular Ramp IDS event is being conducted pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e) "Exchanges with Industry before receipt of proposals" for the purpose of affording the government the opportunity to physically observe the various types of manufactured modular ramp products currently offered in the commercial market, and to obtain input from industry representatives with expertise and knowledge for the implementation and management of a full service modular ramp contract (assessment, material, and installation) that would provide ramps for veterans' homes as part of the Prosthetics Clinical Management Program (PCMP). The IDS will be held in two stages: A morning vendor modular ramp display and an afternoon dialogue session. Interested parties may register for either event or both. 1) Modular Ramp Display Presentation (see attachment A): During the morning of Wednesday, July 30, 2014 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM CT. Interested parties will be required to set-up their displays the evening prior to the event (07/29/14). 2) Government/Industry Dialogue Session: Will be held between the hours of 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM CT at the MVAHCS Auditorium. The purpose of the conference is to exchange program ideas between industry and government. Display and dialogue session details/instructions will be provided with the registration package. A Draft Statement of Work and other documentation will be made available upon check-in to the IDS event which will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS for review by interested parties not available to attend. Industry Day participation is limited to three (3) representatives per company. Interested parties are required to pre-register for the event(s) of their choice. The Registration Form (enclosed) shall be sent to Ken Eshom at Ken.Eshom@va.gov or Facsimile 612-338-1274. One completed registration form per company is to be submitted by 3:00 PM Central Time July 21, 2014 using the subject line "MODULAR RAMP INDUSTRY DAY REGISTRATION". An e-mail confirmation will be sent upon receipt. No phone calls will be accepted. No late registrations will be accepted, no exceptions. Attendees must present a current photo ID (driver's license, military ID, company ID or passport) matching the attendee information submitted via the Registration Form to gain entry into the event. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to permit sufficient time for check-in. Written questions and comments not fielded during the dialogue session will be accepted from all interested parties at the end of, and up to a week after the Industry Day event. All questions must be in writing and submitted to Ken.Eshom@va.gov no later than 4:30 pm CT August 8, 2014. Questions and answers will be posted via FEDBIZOPPS.
