Description

1. The scope of work consists of replacement of playgrounds in the Family Housing Area, Rose Barracks, Vilseck. Work is to be performed in Germany and contractor must be registered and authorized to do business in Germany and to comply with German acqusition laws. 2. The solicitation will be a C3 (Customer, Contracting, Commerce) Partnering Solicitation, which means a Two Step solicitation under Part 14.501 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Therefore a site visit by all interested vendors is strongly recommended. The invitation letter for the site visit will be available on the internet at the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi on approximately 17 June 2014. All responsible sources may attend the site visit and submit a bid, which will be considered by the Regional Contracting Office. 3. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 - $500,000. 4. Only local sources are solicited in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12
