- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled ARMSTRONG FLIGHT RESEARCH CENTER PARTNERING FOR EARLY CAREER INITIATIVE PROPOSALS AND SOLICITATION NO. NND14SA43-RFI which was posted on 06/25/2014. You are notified that the following changes are made: 1) Item #9 is added under the Technical Capability areas: 9. Augmented Reality Developing flight systems that provide a live direct or indirect real-world environment augmented by computer-generation input for mission training. 2) Answer a question submitted Q1: Proposing teams will include a core team consisting of a no more than eight members total, including NASA and external partner members at least half of which must consist of NASA early career employees. Does it mean that NASA early career employees would be attached later on or does mean that NASA early career employees must be pre-joining participating in the formulation of the proposal? A1: The NASA Engineers will be leading the proposal writing and will be able to work with companies that have technologies that match to one or more of the Technology Interest of the center. NASA engineers will be involved directly in the proposal development up front. The due date for responses is not extended. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/AFRC Business Opportunities home page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=24 Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments.
