- Description
- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a contract for sustaining engineering support for the AN/ALQ-161A. The engineering tasks to be accomplished are for software sustainment efforts, including resolution of software deficiency candidates using the Preprocessor Flight Software (PFS) 6.10 or a later version as directed by the Government as the baseline. The contractor will also identify impacts and changes required for other software system products, documentation, technical orders, etc. which are directly impacted by or related to this deficiency analysis effort. The software products may include, but are not limited to, Emitter Identification Data (EID), Emitter Reprogramming Software (ERS), Reprogramming Software Support Tool (RSST), AN/ALM-280 Enhanced Automated Special Test Equipment (EASTE) software, Mission Data Load Tool (MDLT) software, Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) firmware, and system lab and data analysis tools. The contract period of performance will be 12 months. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Northrop Grumman Technical Services, Inc (Herndon, VA), Cage: 0JRC1, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In accordance with AFI 16.201; Foreign Participation is not permitted at the prime level. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
