- The US EPA, Cincinnati Procurement Operations Division (CPOD), is conducting a procurement to acquire technical and regulatory support for the development of criteria/limits for water media. The emphasis of the projects required under this procurement will be focused on human health, with areas of emphasis in microbiology and toxicology. The purpose of this announcement is to notify interested parties about the pre-solicitation conference. CPOD will hold the pre-solicitation conference at the William Jefferson Clinton Building on July 22, 2014. This general session will be held from 9:00am-11:00am, for the purpose of discussing and answering questions regarding the ?Technical and Regulatory Support for the Development of Criteria/Limits for Water Media (Human Health ? Microbiology Emphasis and Toxicology Emphasis)? contract. All questions and answers will be provided in an open forum only. Any questions not fully answered during the conference will be posted to Fe dBizOpps and FedConnect after the conference. Also, all attendees and interested parties will be posted to FedBizOpps and FedConnect. Interested parties are encouraged to review the draft PWS prior to the pre-solicitation conference. Pre-Solicitation Conference Location: William Jefferson Clinton Building, Room 1117A, 1200 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20004 Points of contact are as follows: Cincinnati Procurement Operations Division (CPOD) - Lisa Stultz. Access to the building: Attendees should arrive at the guard?s desk in the lobby of the William Jefferson Clinton Building at 8:45 for sign in and escort to the conference with Ms. Nolan. Attendees must present a valid government ID, and persons and bags will be subject to screening prior to entry beyond the guard?s desk. Pre-Solicitation Conference Participants: Participants must be US citizens or legal residents and must submit visit requests. Submit visit requests and an alphabetized listing (by last name); include full name, cell phone (to be reached at the event), email, company name, via e-mail NLT 4:00pm EST on July 15, 2014 to Eleanor Nolan at nolan.eleanor@epa.gov. Information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the Pre-Solicitation Conference site and assure adequate seating for the Pre-Solicitation Conference attendees. Because of space limitations, the number of participants per organization will be restricted to 5 per potential offeror. Attendance at the Pre-Solicitation Conference will be voluntary. The Government will not provide any cost reimbursement for expenses related to attendance at these activities. Please attend only if your business is a potential offeror. Question Submittal: Potential offerors are requested to submit questions/comments in writing to Lisa Stultz by July 15, 2014. Questions provided in advance will be addressed on the day the pre-solicitation Conference is held. Questions that are initiated during the pre-solicitation conference may be addressed at the conference, deferred or answered on FedBizOpps and FedConnect after the conclusion of the conference.
