- ***SOLICITATION NUMBER HAS BEEN CHANGED*** SOLICITATION NUMBER HAS CHANGED TO FA5209-14-T-0175 THIS IS AN ADMINISTRATION CHANGE THAT AFFECTS 374 CONS ONLY. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE QUOTES IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOLICITATION AS APPROPRIATE. THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THIS REQUIREMENT. 1.1. TRAINING 1.1.1. The contractor shall provide an instructor(s) to conduct onsite Fire Officer I and Fire Officer II course training for ten (10) personnel at the Fire and Emergency Services, Directorate of Emergency Services. This course shall meet or exceed all Fire Officer I and Fire Officer II training requirements in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1021, Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications. Fire Officer I training will be conducted over a period of five (5) days / 40 hours and Fire Officer II training will also be conducted over a period of five (5) days / 40 hours. The entire training period will consist of two (2) consecutive business weeks between 1 Aug and 30 Sep 14, with Fire Officer I training being conducted before Fire Officer II training. Training dates shall be coordinated with the GR. 1.1.2. Submittals. (1) Training Certificates (Para 1.1.3.) (2) Course Materials (Para 1.1.4.) 1.1.2.1 Training Certificates. Upon the completion of each course, the contractor shall provide each student a separate training certificate for Fire Officer I training and Fire Officer II training. 1.1.2.2 Course Materials. The contractor shall provide all the necessary course materials for students to complete training, such as textbooks, etc. All course materials required by students to complete training shall be made available in Japanese. Digital copies of all course materials need to be submitted to the GR at least three (3) business weeks before the first scheduled day of training. Revisions to the course materials, based on the GR's review of those materials, need to be completed and resubmitted back to the GR as soon as practicable.
