Description
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Farmington Field Office (FFO), Farmington, NM is seeking sources capable of providing a complete dendrochronnological analysis of 91 BLM collected archaeological wood specimens/samples. This will provide important dating of cultural resources managed by BLM. These wood remains are fragile and are subject to ongoing irreversible deterioration and loss through natural and man caused. One copy of a report detailing the results of the dendrochronnological analysis of 91 BLM collected archaeological specimens to include for each specimen/sample the following information: 1.Tree Ring lab ID number correlated to BLM collection designation. 2.Species 3.Pith Date 4.Outer ring date 5.Observation on integrity of outer ring date (e.g. missing rings, beetle galleries, etc.) Curation of specimens In addition to searching the market for qualified firms, the results of the sources sought will be utilized to determine if any Small Business Set-Aside opportunities exist. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered. The Government requests that all companies, both Large and Small, submit their business size by North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. If your company is a Small Business, please specify if your company is or is not each of the following: (a) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (b) HUBZone Small Business; (c) 8(a) Concern; (d) Woman-Owned Small Business; (e) Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business to the Governments Contract Specialist Eleanor Tippeconnie. It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than ten pages in length, single spaced, 12 point font minimum, and include one (1) Digital Copy of all submitted documents if not submitted by email) demonstrating the contractor's ability to meet the BLM's requirement for the dendrochronnological analysis. This documentation must address, at a minimum, the following: 1. Company Name; Company Address; Company Business Size, and Point-of-Contact name, phone/fax number, and email address; 2. Company profile to include office location(s), DUNs number, and a statement regarding current small/large business status as discussed above. Submitted capability packages shall not include any pricing information for the dendrochronnological analysis. If pricing information is included within the capability package it will not be reviewed or considered by the BLM. The Period of Performance is for the period of one (1) year from the date of award.
