Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Competitive quotes are being requested under W81EWF41485224. This is Request for Quote (RFQ) is a 100% set aside for small businesses. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) code for the procurement is 334511 and the Small Business size standard is 750 employees. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center has a requirement for five (5) brand name Teledyne RD Instruments Horizontal Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (H-ADCPs). BID SCHEDULE: Line Item 0001 - Three (3) 600 kHz Horizontal ADCPs Qty 1 Unit Price: _______ Total Amount_______ Line Item 0002 - Two (2) 300 kHz Horizontal ADCPs Qty 1 Unit Price: _______ Total Amount_______ Line Item 0003 - Shipping & Handling Total Amount_______ FOB Destination. Ship to Address: USACE -Engineer Research and Development Center, 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS, 39180-6199 SPECIFICATIONS: Two H-ADCP's shall operate at a frequency of 300 kHz. Three H-ADCP's shall operate at a frequency of 600 kHz. The H-ADCP's shall use broadband signal processing to ensure the highest quality data with minimal noise by using coded pulses to make multiple measurements of phase with a single ping, and thereby greatly increase the precision of the measurement and higher resolution per ping. The H-ADCP shall be of 2 beams at 20 degree spacing. The 300 kHz H-ADCP's shall have a minimum water profiling range of 4m and a maximum range of 300m. The 600 kHz H-ADCP's shall have a minimum water profiling range of 2m and a maximum range of 90m. The H-ADCP's shall have a water velocity profiling resolution of 1mm/s. The H-ADCP's shall have 128 water velocity profiling cells The H-ADCP's shall have user defined profiling that allows use for slow moving, fast moving, shallow, deep, and turbid waters within the same project site. The H-ADCP's shall have a DC voltage range of 10 to 18VDC. The H-ADCP's must have the ability to communicate through RS-232 with SDI-12 or RS-422 to a computer and simultaneously log data internally. The H-ADCP's shall be fixed in frequency The H-ADCP's shall have standard sensors to detect temperature, tilt, pressure, and acoustic stage. The H-ADCP's shall have internal logging capability The H-ADCP's shall have built in index-velocity flow calculator Please furnish new equipment only. All equipment must be warranted and must be supportable by the manufacture. In accordance with the specifications provided, award shall be made to the responsible offeror whose quote is determined to be the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
