- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled NASA GSFC Early Career Initiative (POD-NASA-GSFC-ECI) which was posted on July 2, 2014. You are notified that the following changes are made: 2.0 Technical Objectives GSFC is especially looking for partners with capabilities in the following technical areas: Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) design, fabrication and validation; high speed, low power, low loss, laser beam steering technology expertise Nanofabrication platform for developing lightweight, high conductivity polymer material with varying emissivity capabilities Thermal management of high heat flux 3D integrated circuits using evaporative microfluidic cooling. Ion optics for instruments Chemical sensors capable of detecting trace gases with high selectivity Design, alignment, and verification of optics using monolithic, ultra-stable, lightweight, Additive Manufactured Invar optomechanical flexure mounts and benches. The due date for responses is not extended. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
