- BLM has a requirement to construct approximately 3328 rods of 4-wire fence (bottom smooth wire) with all steel posts and remove approximately 3328 rods of woven wire with 2 barbed wire strands of fence. This requirement is to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to remove and construct the fences. Please see all attachments for specifications/requirements. Work under this contract is located in Carter County, MT. The period of performance is 97 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work will start on/about middle to end of August 2014. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $150,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238990. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $14.0 million. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due within 10 days upon notification of our intent to make award. Payment protection can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered System Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on SAM can be found online at www.sam.gov. Any questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing at least three business days before closing.
