- Description
- The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific) intends to issue a solicitation for locksmith services. The prospective contract will have a one-year base period with four one-year options with a firm-fixed pricing arrangement. The locksmith services includes the following: 1)Change, repair, replace, and install combination locks on classified containers and strong rooms; 2) force open and repair locked containers and strong rooms; 3) re-key cylinder locks 4) manufacture keys; and 5) repair, replace or install various locking hardware. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 561622, and the small business size standard is $19 million. The solicitation will only be available electronically on the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command e-commerce web page at https://e- commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil under SSC Pacific Open Solicitations. Amendments, if any, will be available only on this web site. Hard copies of the solicitation and any amendments will not be made available. Basis of award will be detailed in the Request for Proposals (RFP), N66001-14-R-0039, estimated to be released on 17 July 2014.
