Description
Line Item Schedule NTSB-PUR-14-0262 Amendment 01 Questions and Answers Title of Project: Rotocraft Engineering Simulation Software, Training, Maintenance and Support. Question (1): Can the products, which make up Line Item 0001, be separated into additional line items to permit Government evaluation of priorities based on budget limitations? Answer (1): At this time, the separation of the products making up line item 0001 is not necessary. Should this be required, you will be asked to provide the itemization at a later date, after the receipt of initial proposals. Question (2): Our firm has additional products that also address some of the statement of work (SOW) tasks that may be of interest to the NTSB but the RFP indicates that the total price will be based on the price quoted for all options, not just the options that NTSB chooses. Is there a way that we can identify these options in our response without having them included in the total price for competitive evaluation? Answer (2): If a firm has additional products that also address some of the statement of work tasks that may be of interest to the NTSB, your firm is asked to outline these products, how the product answers a particular point of the SOW and price the products as an alternative proposal (highlighting whether the product is an additional product or a substitution for a previously provided product). Should the alternative proposal be considered, discussions will be opened with all competitive parties. The proposal due date under this solicitation are extended from 11 July 2014 at 2:30PM to 18 July 2014 at 9:00AM.
