Description
Justication and Approval for other than Full Open Competition SOW- Investigation, analysis and Characterization of ultra-high temperature low cycle fatigue (LCF). FA8601-14-T-0117: The solicitation number is FA8601-14-T-0117 the NAICS Code is 541330, Size standard is $14M. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The proposed sole source is Dr. Volodymyr P. Sabelkin. This purchase is for a non-personal service contract to Investigate, analysis and characterized High-temperature low cycle fatigue (LCF). Services will include presenting results from investigation of experiments, analysis of test data and interpretation of test results in an acceptable written report or technical publications. Minimum Requirements is in Attachment 1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any information should be e-mailed to Gloria Tiggs at Gloria.tiggs@wpafb.af.mil or call 937-522-4629, fax to Gloria Tiggs, AFLCMC/PZIOB, 937-656-1412 no later than 12:00 (noon), Eastern Time Zone, (noon) on 17 July, 2014. Only inquiries/information received by this date will be considered. Be advised that all correspondence sent via e-mail shall contain a subject line that reads "FA8601-14-T-0117, Investigation, analysis and Characterization of ultra-high temperature low cycle fatigue (LCF)". Note that e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson AFB are designed to filter e-mails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e.,.exe, or.zip files). Therefore, if this subject line is not included, the e-mail may not get through the e-mail filters. Also be advised that.zip or.exe files are not allowable attachments and may be deleted by the e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson AFB. If sending attachments with e-mail ensure only PDF, doc, docx, xls, or xsls documents are sent. The e-mail filter may delete any other form of attachments.
