Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to Performance Aircraft Services, Inc. (PASI) for the removal, via medium pressure (15,000 PSI) water removal process, and reapplication of sealant (EF-5992) on the wing spars and internal wing tank spar fillet seals of six (6) E-6B aircraft. The sealant removal and reapplication processes must be performed concurrently with the removal and reapplication of sealant on the wing spars of the remaining six (6) E-6B aircraft already awarded to PASI under NAVAIR contract N00019-13-C-0150. This intended procurement will be processed pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. (c)(1), whereby the supplies and services required are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by NAVAIR.
