Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER: The Department of Veterans Affairs, intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Biosense Webster. The statutory authority for this acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (b) (1) (ii), SoundStar GE 10G catheter is available from only one source. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339112 with a size standard of 500 Employees. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the point of contact below no later than 12:00 P.M., (EST) on July, 10, 2014. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
