The LOC NAVCC has the mission to preserve the audio, video and motion picture heritage and to provide access to their collections for research, and public education. NAVCC requires support from contractors specializing in all aspects of audio, video, or motion picture and multi-media systems design, acquisition, installation, and integration to perform a variety of tasks. These tasks may be independent, or may augment other major projects in progress. It is anticipated that the majority of the work will be performed in the Culpeper, Virginia campus, but may also involve systems in the Washington, DC area. The primary supplies (e.g., equipment and systems) and services (engineering, logistics, or acquisition) required under this contract relate to audio, video, film, digital film, and multi-media production for media migration, preservation, and streaming distribution. In addition, the Packard Campus' facilities consist of state-of-the-art Information Technology (IT) based integrated digital media file production, post-production, access, distribution, and archiving systems. NOTE: Offerors are advised to read all the sections of the attached solicitation.
