- Redacted Sony Brand Name Justification Sony RFQ The 502 nd Contracting Squadron, 2273 Reynolds Road, San Antonio, Texas 78234, is issuing combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334310, Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing; with a size standard of 750 Employees. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-74, effective 01 July 2014. This RFQ is for Brand Name Equipment : 2 each Sony Camcorders ( PMW320KCE ) and 12 each of the Sony Memory Cards ( SBS64G1A). See attached Redacted Brand Name Justification. The Government intends to award one Firm Fixed-Price contract to operate with existing HD video cameras at Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234, in support of the Army Medical Department Center and School (AMEDDC&S) Distributed Learning Division. Questions due 16 Jul 2014 by 1200 CST. Quotes due 21 Jul 2014 by 1200 CST.
