- NOTE: A Solicitation will not be issued under this number. The Solicitation for these requirements will be issued with the new Solicitation number of FA8532-14-R-32382. All other details of this requirement remain the same. This solicitation is for a Negotiated contract to cover NSN 3510-01-440-9167EJ, P/N 200317735, Self Help Laundry. DIM: 30' x 15' x 20', WEIGHT: 3,700 lbs., MATL: 5 washers, 5 double-stacked dryers, water heater, water tank, supply pump, drain pump, electrical cables and panels; Washers, dryers, water heater and electrical connections are operated within a user furnished 32x20 tent, 437 Cu Ft. Designed for rapid deployment and continuous operation as a field laundry. Basic Year Requirement is 1 EA First Article, First Article Test Plan and First Article Test Report. Eight (8) EA additional Production units are required (DEST: TBD). Also included is a requirement for Technical Manuals, Provisioning, and various other reports are also included. Hardware delivery is 270 days after receipt of contract. Four Option Periods of 365 days each are also included. Option Period I: 1-10 EA, Option Period II: 1-10 EA, Option Period III: 1-10 EA, Option Period IV: 1-10 EA. DEST: TBD. DEL: 270 days ARO exercise of Option. Solicitation is restricted to Small Business. Solicitation will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov website only on or about 23 May 2014 with a response date on or about 27 Jun 2014. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. All potential offerors should contact the buyer identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the buyer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
