Description

THIS MODIFICATION REFLECTS AN UPDATED SUPPLY LIST -1 FOR DATE 7/11/2014. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc., 50 Frontage Road, Andover, MA 01810 for Custom 13c-labeled spiking standards for the measurement of select persistent organic pollutants found in human serum, items required: (see attach list). This product has capability mixtures of standards will allow our laboratory to measure a comprehensive array of persistent organic pollutants found in human serum. This is the only product that can perform all of CDC requirements these custom mixtures of 13C-labeled spiking standards. This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotation/response should be emailed to Desiree Harris contract specialist at huq9@cdc.gov by COB Monday, July 21, 2014 @2pm. EST. FAR REFERENCE: FAR 5.207- Preparation and transmittal of synopses under (c)(15), (c)(16) (i), and (c)(16)(ii).
