- STATEMENT OF WORK GE APPLICATIONS TRAININIG OKLAHOMA CITY VA MEDICAL CENTER Radiology is in need of "Applications Training" for our Cat Scan Technologist on the GE (Discovery CT590 RT) Cat Scan Simulator being utilized in our Radiation Oncology Center at the VAMC in Oklahoma City OK. Currently our radiology Cat Scan personnel are trained on Philips and Siemens CT units This Application Training will allow Radiology staff to operate the GE Cat Scan during the time of construction (demolition, new construction, installation and the application training) of one of our existing CT units. A total of 7 days of applications training is required to fully train out present CT staff. CONTACTOR REQUIMENTS: 1. The contractor shall provide 3 days Cat Scan Training in Product (TiP) onsite applications training. Three days CT onsite training will be provided between Monday through Friday and the day will be provided consecutively. The application training shall be conducted between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The contractor shall provide the applications training in consecutive days. This training shall include the travel and lodging expenses. 2.The contractor shall provide 4 days Cat Scan Training in Product (TiP) onsite applications training. Four days onsite CT TIP onsite training will be provided between Monday through Friday and the day will be provided consecutively. The application training shall be conducted between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The contract shall provide the applications training in consecutive days. This training shall include the travel and lodging expenses. 3.The contractor shall re-configure all required GE protocols to meet the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center's protocol requirements. The contractor shall train both the General Cat Scan staff, and the Intervential Radology Staff, to perform all protocols, to include biopsy's for the Interventional Staff. SECURITY: The trainers/instructors performing this application training will be required to complete a background check through our (VAMC Oklahoma City) Human Resources Department prior to conducting the training or having access to view patient data. The C&A requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
