- Answers and Questions are as follows: Question 1 For the purposes of ROM pricing, what is the particular ship class which the customer desires as the referent hull for size/equipment? Answer 1:. Full mission simulators for ROM purposes would emulate the CG WMSL and part-task trainers CG FRC in equipment configuration if not total mock-up. Question 2 For the purposes of ROM pricing, does the customer intend to include simulated modern voyage management system and electronic chart management equipment? Answer 2: We wish to utilize GFE in the form of CG Standard ECDIS. The simulator should be able to interface with the GFE. Question 3 For the purposes of ROM pricing, how many notional peloruses and radar repeaters does the customer desire on the simulated bridge? Answer 3: One (1) pelorus and two (2) total radars per simulator. Question 4 What is the notional delivery schedule the customer desires after contract award? Answer 4: Scheduled install to occur within approximately six (6) months of contract award and actual install time of 1-2 months. Question 5 Is there any interest/potential need or requirement for the part-task trainers to have synthetic role-player capabilities (for software-based intelligent agents to assume roles on the bridge or other spaces in order to full exercise the user's teamwork, coordination and communication)? Answer 5: Yes, especially simulated GMDSS communications.
