Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with THORATEC CORPORATION OF 6035 STONERIDGE DRIVE PLEASANTON, CA 94588, to purchase FOUR (4) EACH OF THE PRIMARY CONSOLE 2ND GENERATION AND COMPONENTS in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than 7/15/2014 C.O.B. Responses should be sent to jesse.rumbel@va.gov or faxed to Jesse Rumbel at (412) 822.3774. No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely in the discretion of the contracting officer.
