Description
The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i). The proposed source is GSL Solutions, Inc., 2414 SE 125th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98683. GSL Solutions an automated prescription will-call storage, dispensing & tracking system for completed prescriptions. The system must have a current interface with existing automation (CHCS/AHLTA and PharmASSIST) to accept the transfer of patient/prescription information. The system must record all instances of user interface for tracking purposes; contain lockable electronic cabinets for prescriptions; be HIPAA compliant; have an interface with the DoD electronic medical record for outpatient pharmacy orders; be able to associated orders from main pharmacy site to a remote filling site; have "built-in" redundancy in system components; have a current approval to operate system on Department of Defense IT network and meet Department of Defense criteria for storage of controlled drug filled prescriptions and ergonomically designed and be space efficient. Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized distributor for the proposed supplies. The system shall be compliant with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements to market and deliver medical products for use in the United States of America, even should delivery be requested outside of the United States. The claims made for the product shall comply with the regulations of the FDA with respect to products for marketing and delivery of a medical product for use in the United States of America, even should delivery be requested outside of the United States. The system shall be installed in compliance with OSHA requirements.
