- Description
- The National Park Service, Southeast Region intends to award a Firm Fixed price award to provide services necessary for the reproduction of five (5) naval type cannon carriages for historic 18-20 pound cannons on exhibit on the water battery at Fort Christiansvaern. Four (4) cannon are mounted on existing painted wooden and metal carriages with wooden wheels. Additionally, the upcoming solicitation will have two additives to the solicitation. Additive one will manufacture and install naval type cannon carriages for two (2) six-pounder and one (1) eight-pounder cannon located on water battery gun deck. Additive Two will manufacture and install naval type cannon carriages for two (2) six-pounder, one (1) eight-pounder, and one three-pounder cannon, and one (1) field carriage for cannon in artillery shed.
