- The contractor shall perform the following capital maintenance effort for the government owned buildings and utility systems at the Naval Industrial Reserve Ordnance Plant (NIROP) Pittsfield MA The contractor shall design and engineer the following : Fire Alarm Upgrade and Electricity Distribution Maintenance. This effort shall include complete drawing packages and specification. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
