Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and shall not obligate the Government to award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources interested and capable of performing the work. The James J Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, NY intends to purchase a: Arterial Inflow System. This machine will use venous occlusion plethysmography in a noninvasive diagnostic automated manner on several funded and ongoing projects within the VA Medical Center. The system shall include all necessary hardware, including two channels for strain gauge plethysmography, ECG amplifier, two programmable cuff inflators, four inflatable cuffs, and auxiliary analog input, and needed accessories to perform an array of clinical and research blood flow tests. The intention of this notice is to seek sources that could potentially provide these services. Firms with interest and capability to respond to this requirement should develop short narrative capability statements and other information indicating and evidencing capability to successfully meet the aforementioned requirements. Potential sources should identify business name, point of contact, business size and any applicable business socio-economic category (i.e. small business, SDVOSB, VOSB, SB, etc), DUNS number, address, and any additional information felt to be pertinent. All vendors must be registered in SAM https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ prior to contract award. Delivery and Place of Performance: Equipment is to be delivered by the Contractor to the James J Peters VA Medical Center, 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468.
