- Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All offers are to remain valid through 1 Oct 14. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA4625-14-Q-0023. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2(a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332311. For the purpose of this procurement the small business size standard is 500 Employees. Items required are listed below: ITEM: Mobile Ballistic Guard Shacks QUANTITY: 6 each DESCRIPTION: Mobile Ballistic Guard Shacks with minimum dimensions of 6ft W x 4ft D x 6.5ft T, with patio dimensions of 3.5ft D x 6ft W with hand rail. Shacks are to be mounted on towable trailer chassis rated for weight of the units, and equipped with a 2in ball hitch. All sides of the shacks are to be made using NIJ IV (7.62mm API) rated materials to include floor and ceiling. The windows shall have a shatterproof film/coating to protect occupant from breaking glass. Inside of the shack there shall be a table/counter top and a lighting source for occupants while inside. These units shall also come equipped with a Gasoline powered Generator which uses 4 prong L14-20 20A 120/240V twist lock plugs, also the outlets on the shacks should be the same to accommodate mounted generator and other military generators. The Shacks also shall be equipped with HVAC systems to provide Cold and Heat.
