- THE PURPOSE OF PRE-SOLICITATION AMENDMENT 0001 IS TO CHANGE THE GUARANTEED MINIMUM CONTRACT DOLLAR VALUE FROM $800,000 TO $250,000. ADDITIONALLY, THE NEW PRIMARY POINT OF CONTACT FOR THIS REQUIREMENT IS KRISTOPHER TOM. ************************************************** Description: The Government intends to issue a solicitation for full line fresh fruit and vegetable (FF&V) US #1 or better support for Non-DoD USDA School Customers, Oahu, in the State of Hawaii. The solicitation will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside (NAICS Code 311991/size standard 500). The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), Fixed Price with an Economic Price Adjustment based on cost of supplies/materials. The resultant contract will be for 4.5 years. It contains one (1) eighteen month (18 month) base period plus two (2) eighteen (18) month option periods. The acquisition method is low price/technically acceptable (LPTA). The total contract dollar value estimate is $8,000,000.00, not to exceed 200% ($16,000,000.00) of the estimate. The guaranteed minimum contract dollar value is for the base year only (10% of the 18-mo estimate) is $250,000.00. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on/about July 21, 2014 with a bidding period of 30 days.
