- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1) This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. 2) Solicitation W912P914T7072 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). 3) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR Circular 2005-11 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. 4) The solicitation is Small Business Set A-Side. 5) DESCRIPTION: The work shall consist of furnishing the following is a list of required beds: oQty. 9 - Twin Size Bunk beds For 7 ft - 2 inch ceilings Minimum of 2 ft clearance from the upper mattress to ceiling Minimum of 2 ft - 3 inches clearance from mattress to upper bunk support members At least 2 sliding drawers under the bottom bunk (fixed). oQty 1 - Full Size Bunk Bed For 7 ft - 2 inch ceilings Minimum of 2 ft clearance from the upper mattress to ceiling Minimum of 2 ft - 3 inches clearance from mattress to upper bunk support members At least 2 sliding drawers under the bottom bunk (fixed). oQty 5 - Wall Mountable Pullman (Fold Down) Beds. The basis for award will be a lowest price/technical acceptable. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be evaluated: Past Performance and Price. Past Performance and Price, when combined, are equal. There will be no public bid opening. The NAICS code for this requirement is 337124. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov./. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation or the Interested Vendor's List (IVL). Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package or the IVL list will not be honored. Potential offerors MUST register at www.fedbizopps.gov./ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. The IVL will be activated and may be accessed and printed from this web site. Prospective offerors who would like their company name included on the Bidders Mailing List (plan holders list) may do so on the fedbizopps website under IVL. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs. Be advised that all interested parties MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database and have completed On-Line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in order to receive a contract award.
